"The Oaad evolved in the ruins of a precursor race that had long since gone extinct. Naturally wall-scalers, they hold the tech prowess of the former residents, but rarely are able to make it off world."

Oaad Lineup

A comparison between an Oaad and an average Human.

The Oaad are wise sapients who gained their intelligence by evolving within the deep, dark ruins of a former civilization. This set them ahead of most other species in technology and philosophy. They are somewhat mournful, however, as their bodies are not well-designed for create technologies for themselves, and they are stuck on their homeplanet. Rarely are they visited by spacefaring species, and they are considered as legends by many.
